Information Collection and Dissemination

AMFIU has been positioning itself to be the information hub of the microfinance industry in Uganda. This is going to be done through researches, baseline studies, establishment of a resource centre and through consolidating PMT data in the performance monitoring system (PMS). Through AMFIU, members can access a wide range of information on microfinance in Uganda and worldwide.

AMFIU publishes a quarterly journal (The Microfinance Banker) in conjunction with the Microfinance Competence Center (MCC), as a tool for information exchange. AMFIU also organizes quarterly informal information exchange where stakeholders share and discuss the latest issues affecting the microfinance industry.
